Resumen
Fuente Santa ha sido uno de los lugares más conocidos y misteriosos de Loja. Aquí se hace un recorrido por su historia y se le da importancia a una de sus reformas ya que, ésta, logró frenar el descontento y el miedo que había entre sus habitantes. Además del marco histórico, se estudia la parte paleográfica y diplomática de un documento seleccionado, referente a dicha fuente, perteneciente al siglo XVIII.
Abstract
Fuente Santa has been one of the most famous and mysterious places in Loja. Here, a travel through its history is been carried out and a special importance is given to one of its reforms because it managed to stop the discomfort and fear which it was between its inhabitants. In addition to its historical scenery, it is a paleographic and diplomatic part of a selected document too, concerning to that fountain, belonging to the eighteenth century which it had been studied.
