Resumen
Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado nace de un doble deseo: el de indagar, por un lado, sobre la expresión de la subjetividad en cine y televisión y, por otro, del deseo de explorar las estrategias con que esta subjetividad se representa en el cine documental contemporáneo. En definitiva, este trabajo busca aproximarse a las riquísimas relaciones entre cine y vida y una comprensión de ésta última como material artístico.
Dada la permeabilidad existente entre lo social y lo mediático, es interesante observar cómo se define y expone nuestra identidad a través de las herramientas que la tecnología coloca a nuestra disposición. En este sentido, será iluminador acercarnos al giro autobiográfico que en la última década ha experimentado un sector tradicionalmente relegado a la expresión en tercera persona: el cine documental. Para ello el diario filmado Mapa, de Elías León Siminiani (2012), nos servirá para ilustrar la dificultad y limitaciones de la expresión (cinematográfica, y vital) en primera persona.
Abstract
This final project was born from a double desire: to investigate, on the one hand, on the expression of subjectivity in film and television and on the other, the desire to explore the strategies that this subjectivity is represented in contemporary documentary film. In short, this work seeks to approach the relationship between cinema and life and an understanding of life as an artistic material.
Given the permeability between social and media, it is interesting to note how our identity it is definied and exposed through the tools that technology puts at our disposal. In this sense, it is illuminating to approach the "autobiographical twist" that in recent decades has experienced a sector traditionally relegated to the expression in the third person: the documentary film. To do that, film diary Mapa, by Elías León Siminiani (2012), will serve to illustrate the difficulties and limitations of expression (in film, but also in life) in first person.
