Resumen
Las adaptaciones entre el cine y el teatro se han llevado a cabo desde el cine primitivo donde directores como George Méliès a partir del lenguaje teatral fueron creando poco a poco el lenguaje cinematográfico, explotando las posibilidades que el cinematógrafo ofrecía. Además de usar el teatro, el cine también ha utilizado la literatura universal, para tener diferentes personajes e historias a partir de las cuales realizar películas similares al texto original o completamente diferentes, dejando la historia en manos del equipo de realización y producción de la película.
Aunque el cine tiene ya más de 100 años, las adaptaciones entre estos medios se siguen dando hoy en día, dado que hay historias y temas intemporales, además de universales, que todas las generaciones deben conocer.
Un ejemplo de ello, es el musical Los Miserables, adaptación teatral de la novela de la literatura universal escrita por Víctor Hugo y que en los últimos años ha sido adaptada al medio cinematográfico para seguir expandiendo su popularidad y éxito.
Abstract
Adaptations between cinema and theater have taken place since the early cinema where directors like George Méliès from theatrical language were gradually creating cinematic language, exploiting the possibilities offered cinematographer. In addition to using the theater, the cinema has also used the universal literature, to have different characters and stories from which perform similar to the original text or completely different films, leaving the story in the hands of team development and production of the film .
Although the film has more than 100 years, the adjustments between these media still give today, as there are stories and timeless themes also universal, that all generations should know.
An example of this is the musical Les Miserables, theatrical adaptation of the novel of world literature written by Victor Hugo and in recent years has been adapted to film medium to further expand its popularity and success.
