Resumen
El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado se centra en el análisis de la accesibilidad de las páginas web de las Universidades españolas.
En primer lugar, se proporciona una breve introducción para poder poner al lector en la situación actual en la que se encuentran las personas con discapacidad. A continuación se describirán la justificación del porqué se ha hecho este trabajo, los objetivos propuestos y la metodología por la cual se va a hacer dicho trabajo.
En segundo lugar daremos una serie de definiciones sobre accesibilidad y lo que significan, también para quién está enfocada la accesibilidad y por qué es de tanta importancia.
En tercer lugar procederemos al estudio de las normativas vigentes establecidas por la World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), la Web Accesibility Initiative (WAI) y más a fondo por las pautas de accesibilidad establecidas por la Web Content Accesibility Guidelines (WCAG) basándonos en sus versiones 1.0 y 2.0.
En cuarto lugar comenzaremos con el análisis de cinco páginas web universitarias para contemplar si siguen la normativa. Haciendo primero una revisión manual y después una revisión automática con las herramientas HERA y TAW. Comparando los resultados entre sí para ver los errores que nos demuestran en cada análisis las páginas. Y cómo podrían solucionarse.
Concluimos con un apartado de resultados en el que podemos observar cuáles son las páginas mejor adaptadas y cuáles son los errores fundamentales que tienen y ver qué solución podemos darles. Finalmente el documento recoge las principales conclusiones. Se completa la información en los anexos donde se explica los enunciados principales de las pautas de accesibilidad WCAG 1.0.
Abstract
The present final year project is centered in the analisis of the accessibility in spanish university's webpages.
In the first place, it provides a brief introduction to put the reader in the present situation in which persons with disabilities. Next it will be described the justification for what has been done this job, the proposed objectives and the methodology by which the above mentioned work is going to be done.
Secondly we will give a series of definitions on accessibility and what they mean, also for who is focused the accessibility and why it is so important.
Thirdly we shall proceed to the study of the regulations established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and further by the accessibility guidelines established by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) based on their versions 1.0 and 2.0.
Fourthly we will begin with the analysis of five university web pages to contemplate if they follow the rules. Doing first a manual review and after an automatic revision with the tools HERA and TAW. By comparing the results between themselves to see the errors that we demonstrate in each analysis pages. And how could be resolved. We conclude with a section of results in which we can observe what are the pages better adapted and what are the fundamental errors that have and see what solution we can give them.
