Resumen
Las bibliotecas particulares (post morten) son una línea de investigación en auge dentro de los estudios del patrimonio bibliográfico. Este estudio analiza cuantitativamente la biblioteca personal de José Fernando de Silva, S.J. (1750-1829), para ello se investiga sobre su vida, contexto histórico, el origen de su biblioteca y localización actual. Se pretende constatar la exclusividad de algunas de sus obras, el volumen de obras por período de tiempo y las características físicas de los ejemplares partiendo de las descripciones existentes en el CCPB (Catálogo Colectivo del Patrimonio Bibliiográfico Español). Se constata que de los 1454 registros analizados, 491 son ejemplares únicos en España. Todo el proceso se ha realizado en un periodo de tiempo de siete meses siendo estos: septiembre, octubre y noviembre de 2015, y marzo, abril, mayo y junio de 2016, cerrando la toma de datos el 15 de mayo de 2016.
Abstract
The personal libraries (post morten) are an investigation line, which is booming in studies related to bibliographic heritage. The objective of this study is to do analyze quantitatively the José Fernando de Silva’s personal library S.I. (1750-1829). To do this, his life, historic context, the origin of his library and its current location have been researched. It is expected to be able to verify the exclusiveness of some of the works, the volume of them in each period of time and the physical characteristics of the books, based on the descriptions which appear in CCPB (Catálogo Coletivo del Patrimonio Bibliográfico Español). It is confirmed that 1454 registers have been analyzed and 491 of them are unique in Spain. The process has been carried out over seven months: September, October and November of 2015; and March, April, May and June of 2016, finishing the data collection the fifteenth of May 2016.
