Resumen
Por norma general, el cine de Pedro Almodóvar siempre se ha visto desde el punto de vista de la mujer, pero no es el único punto de vista existente en su universo. Hablaremos del papel que juegan el hombre y la homosexualidad en las 20 películas que componen la filmografía del director. La representación del hombre en el cine de Almodóvar no es siempre la del hombre español en la gran pantalla, sino que cada personaje es diferente y único, aunque cumpla ciertos estereotipos. Además también hablaremos del contexto histórico de cada película y de cómo el heteropatriarcado está muy presente en toda su filmografía.
Abstract
Generally, Pedro Almodóvar’s films have always been analized from the point of view of the women, but it is not the only point of view in his universo. We will talk about the role of men and homosexuality in the 20 films that comform his filmography. The role of men in Almodovar’s movies is not always the one we see on the big screens that shows us a spanish man, but the one in which every character is unique. Besides, we will be talking about the historic context and about how the heteropatriarchy is common to all the movies.
