Resumen
El objetivo principal del presente trabajo es analizar y cuantificar mediante métodos estadísticos la repercusión que tienen determinados tipos de artículos de revisión sobre los principales indicadores bibliométricos de la revista en que se publican, concretamente el factor de impacto, eigenfactor score y article influence score. El estudio se centró en revistas del campo Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Medicine. Para ello se han considerado las siguientes categorías: revisión literaria, meta-análisis, revisión sistemática sin y con meta-análisis y ensayos clínicos. Tras analizar las correlaciones existentes entre dichas variables, se estimó un modelo de regresión lineal múltiple que seleccionó como más influyente la revisión sistemática sin y con metaanálisis.
Abstract
The main aim of the present work is to analyze and quantify by statistical methods the influence of certain types of review papers on the main bibliometric indicators of the journal where they are published. Concretely the impact factor, eigenfactor score and article influence score. The study was focused on journals belonging to the field Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Medicine. For this they have been considered the following categories: literary review, meta-analysis, systematic review without and with meta-analysis and clinical trials. After analyzing the existing correlations among such variables a multiple linear regression model was estimated that selected systematic review without and with meta-analysis as the most influential one.
