Resumen
Vivimos en una sociedad en la que la interculturalidad se ha convertido en una gran herramienta para el desarrollo de las bibliotecas. Por ello, en este trabajo se pretende evaluar los procesos y actividades que se realizan en las bibliotecas del distrito norte de Granada, ya que es el primero en términos de diversidad cultural de la ciudad. Se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica con el fin de analizar el estado de la cuestión. Y, para completar esta información, se ha realizado un pequeño trabajo de campo, basado en un cuestionario formado por 23 preguntas que se han formulado a 10 responsables de las bibliotecas del distrito. Los resultados evidencian que se debe intensificar el trabajo en las bibliotecas y abrirse más a las diversas culturas de los usuarios.
Abstract
We live in a society in which the interculturality has become a great tool for the development of the libraries. So, this document aims to evaluate the processes and activities carried out in the libraries of the northern district of Granada, since it is the first in terms of cultural diversity in the city. A bibliographic review has been carried out in order to analyze the state of the matter. And, to complete this information, a small investigation work has been done, based on a questionnaire made up of 23 questions that have been asked to 10 people in charge of the district's libraries. The results show that the work carried out in the libraries must be intensified and be more open to the different cultures of the users.
