Resumen
El objetivo de este trabajo es el análisis del género cinematográfico de terror, específicamente el uso de sus elementos estilísticos más frecuentes. Para ello se estudiará el concepto de miedo y la pretensión de algunas personas hacia este, además de la propia historia del género, contexto en el cual se analizará qué motivaba las películas de terror. Por último, se pretende realizar un análisis de aquellos elementos estilísticos más frecuentes en el cine de terror e intentar averiguar el porqué de su utilización, sirviéndonos para ello de la saga Expediente Warren de los directores James Wan, John R. Leonetti, David F. Sandberg y Corin Hardy, formada por las películas Expediente Warren: The Conjuring (2013), Expediente Warren: El caso Enfield (2016), Anabelle (2014), Anabelle: Creation (2017) y La Monja (2018).
Abstract
The aim of this work is the analysis of the cinematographic genre of terror, specifically the use of the most frequent stylistic elements. To do this, we study the concept of fear and the pretension of some people towards it, as well as the history of the genre itself, the context in which we analyce what motivated horror films. Finally, it is about making an analysis of the most frequent stylistic elements that we can found in the genre of terror and try to find out why they are used, using for it the "The Warren Files" saga, by the directors James Wan, John R. Leonetti, David F. Sandberg and Corin Hardy, with the films The Conjuring (2013), The Conjuring 2 (2016), Anabelle (2014), Anabelle: Creation (2017) and The Nun (2018)
