Resumen
Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado es un análisis de la ilustración como imagen de comunicación en el tiempo presente. Para entender lo que supone el concepto de imagen ilustrada en la actualidad, la investigación cuenta con apartado dedicado al estudio teórico de algunos de los aspectos fundamentales que la configuran. La ilustración como nueva categoría estética, la sociedad hipermoderna, la imagen y su relación con el conocimiento, los medios de reproducción técnica, la Postfotografía, la tecnología digital, etc. serán algunos de los puntos que marcarán el contenido de estos aspectos. A su vez, debido a la situación de la imagen ilustrada, se propondrá un nuevo formato de esta, audiovisual, que parece ser muy coherente en la época en la que vivimos. Por último, como apoyo de la primera parte y como ejercicio práctico de esta, se hará un análisis de algunas de las ilustraciones que acompañan a artículos que se han publicado, entre los años 2017 y 2018, en el emblemático medio de comunicación de The New York Times.
Abstract
This Final Undergraduate Project is an analysis of the illustration as communication image in the current time. For understanding what it supposes the concept of the illustrative image nowadays, this research has a part dedicated to the theoretical study of some fundamental aspects of its configuration. The illustration as new category, the hypermodern society, the image and its relation with knowledge, the reproduction technic, the Postfotography, digital technology, etc. will be some of the points in the content of this aspects. Also, because of the situation of the illustrative image, it will be propose a new audiovisual format of this, really coherent in the times we live. By last, with the help of the first part and the practical exercise of this, it will be done an analysis of some illustrations in The New York Times, which go with some articles published in the 2017 and the 2018.
