Resumen
La siguiente investigación tiene como objetivo ver y analizar la violencia en distintos ámbitos, desde una visión global de esta idea hasta cómo se percibe la violencia de género en los medios de comunicación audiovisuales. Este último tipo de violencia es uno de los más revindicados en los últimos años por una sociedad que lucha por los derechos de la mujer y, entre ellos, la vida femenina. Por ello, en este trabajo se va a tratar este tema, cómo ha evolucionado sobre todo a través de los medios y las nuevas visiones que se están dando en algunos productos audiovisuales; en concreto, la serie de Netflix “You”, y las dos producciones audiovisuales acerca de Ted Bundy de la misma cadena, “Extremadamente cruel, malvado y perverso” y “Conversaciones con asesinos: las cintas de Ted Bundy”. ¿Seguimos teniendo el estereotipo de los príncipes azules de los cuentos de princesas, o estamos adoptando un nuevo modelo en el que se busca más realismo respecto la vida real? ¿La violencia está inherente en nosotros? ¿O se ve reforzada por lo que vemos en televisión? Estas y algunas dudas más se verán resueltas a lo largo de este ensayo.
Abstract
The following research aims to look at and analyse violence in different fields, from a global vision of this idea to how gender violence is perceived in the audiovisual media. This last type of violence is one of the most claimed in recent years by a society that fights for women’s right and, among them, women’s lifes. For this reason, this work will deal with this issue, how it has evolved mainly through the media and the new visions that are being given in some audiovisual products, specifically, the series Netflix “You”, and the two audiovisual productions about Ted Bundy from the same channel, "Extremely cruel, evil and perverse" and "Conversations with murderers: Ted Bundy's tapes". Do we still have the stereotype of blue princes in princess stories, or are we adopting a new model that seeks more realism with respect to real life? Is violence inherent in us? Or is it reinforced by what we see on television? These and a few more doubts will be resolved throughout this essay
