Resumen
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo implementar un agente conversacional o chatbot para la biblioteca de la Universidad de Granada (UGR), utilizando el lenguaje de programación Python junto con la librería ChatterBot. Además se le ha añadido al chatbot la posibilidad de consultar en línea el catálogo de la misma y dispone de una interfaz gráfica que proporcionar al usuario un entorno más amigable.
Este sistema pretende estar a disposición de la comunidad universitaria de forma gratuita, proporcionando a la biblioteca un recurso distinto a los habituales, siendo muy beneficioso si se incorporara en esta, ya que a la larga permitiría ir mejorando sus funciones gracias a las aportaciones de la comunidad universitaria. Finalmente, esto nos lleva a que la incorporación de nuevas tecnologías mejoraran los recursos ofertados por las bibliotecas.
Abstract
The aim of this undergraduate project is to implement a conversational agent into the library of the University of Granada using Python as the programming language and ChatterBot as the library. It has also been given to the chatbot the possibility of online consulting the catalogue and it has a graphic interface that provides a more friendly environment to the user.
This system pretends to be at the disposal of the university community for free, providing its library a different resource from what is usual, being very beneficial if it is incorporated since it will allow improvements in the long term thanks to the contributions of everyone. Finally, this leads to the incorporation of new technologies that improves the resources offered by libraries.
