Resumen
Con motivo del incremento del cine de superhéroes en los últimos años, hemos sido testigos de cómo grandes personajes de los comics han trasladado su historia a la gran pantalla, creando una consolidada comunidad de fans. También, estos últimos años hemos sido testigo de cómo el movimiento feminista vuelve a alzar la voz para reclamar una igualdad inexistente hasta el día de hoy.
En este trabajo se analizarán las películas de Wonder Woman y Capitana Marvel, las adaptaciones cinematográficas de dos líneas de comics, llevadas a la gran pantalla y publicitadas como iconos feministas. Pero para determinar si esto último se cumple debemos definir si se rompe con los estereotipos que siempre han acompañado a las figuras femeninas, y si verdaderamente estas nos hacen llegar nuevos valores. Conoceremos su inicio en los comics y su adecuación al cine, y reuniremos las últimas pruebas formuladas que complementan al test de Bechdel (1985), midiendo con estos los problemas que se han superado en estas cintas.
Abstract
With the rise of superhero cinema in recent years, we have witnessed how great Comics characters have moved their story to the big screen, creating a consolidated community of fans. We have also witnessed in recent years how the feminist movement has once again raised its voice to demand equality that has not existed to this day.
In this work will be analyzed the films of Wonder Woman and Capitana Marvel, the film adaptations of two lines of Comics, taken to the big screen and advertised as feminist icons. But in order to determine whether the latter is being fulfilled, we must define whether they break with the stereotypes that have always accompanied the female figures, and whether they really give us new values. We will know its beginnings in the Comics and its adaptation to the cinema, and we will gather the latest tests formulated that complement the Bechdel test (1985), measuring with these the problems that have been overcome in these tapes.
