Resumen
En los últimos años, estamos presenciando un importante auge del cine de superhéroes, habiéndose convertido en uno de los géneros más relevantes. En el cine, vemos como las superheroínas han estado siempre por detrás de sus compañeros masculinos, teniendo menos protagonismo o incluso siendo representadas por el estereotipo de “mujer objeto”. Sin embargo, en las últimas décadas, el papel de la mujer en el cine ha comenzado a cambiar, dándose más importancia a su figura tanto delante cómo detrás de las cámaras. Este cambio ha afectado a las superheroínas, que han empezado a ganar más protagonismo.
En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado hemos realizado un análisis cualitativo de 7 películas protagonizadas por superheroínas estrenadas del 2000 al 2020, para identificar estereotipos, arquetipos y valores presentes en esta figura. De esta forma, hemos podido evidenciar el aumento de mujeres en el cine de superhéroes, tanto delante como detrás de las cámaras, así como la existencia de un punto de vista feminista. Sin embargo, también hemos descubierto como en muchos aspectos todavía se dan arquetipos algo homogéneos.
Abstract
In recent years, we are witnessing an important rise of superhero films, having become one of the most relevant genres. In films, superheroines have always been behind their male colleagues, having less importance or even being treated as an object. However, in the last decades, the role of women in film has begun to change, and they have become more relevant both in front of and behind the camera. This change has affected superheroines, who have begun to gain more significance.
In this Study, we have qualitatively analysed 7 films with superheroines as protagonists released from 2000 to 2020, to identify stereotypes, archetypes and values represented in this type of character. This way, we have proven a rise in the number of women in superhero films, both behind and in front of the camera, as well as the existence of a feminist point of view. However, we have also discovered that the archetypes presented are, in different aspects, still quite homogeneous.
