Resumen
En este trabajo se analiza la viabilidad de montar un espacio de creación en la Facultad de Comunicación y Documentación, con el objetivo de que los alumnos del grado en Información y Documentación obtengan una mejor formación práctica y puedan tutorizar y desarrollar proyectos creativos al incorporarse al mercado laboral. En la actualidad existe en la Facultad un espacio con equipamiento no dedicado para este tipo de servicios que podría ser aprovechado, pero sería necesario redistribuir espacios y adquirir nuevos equipos específicos. Para ello realizamos una propuesta de makerspace, donde primeramente estudiaremos con que herramientas contamos ya, para posteriormente proponer las que se deberían de adquirir para poder desarrollar determinados proyectos afines al área de la biblioteconomía y crear el espacio. Además, se profundizará en que es un makerspace, hablando del movimiento maker y examinando diferentes experiencias maker en el mundo.
Abstract
This paper analyses the feasibility of setting up a creative space in the Faculty of Communication and Documentation, with the aim of providing students of the Degree Information and Documentation with better practical training and enabling them to tutor and develop creative projects when they enter the labour market. At present, there is a space in the Faculty with non-dedicated equipment for this type of services that could be used, but it would be necessary to redistribute spaces and acquire new specific equipment. In order to do this, we are making a makerspace proposal, where we will first study what tools we already have, and then propose those that should be acquired in order to develop certain projects related to the area of librarianship and create the space. In addition, we will go deeper into what a makerspace is, talking about the maker movement and examining different maker experiences around the world.
