Resumen
Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado ha tenido como objetivo analizar cómo el arte, en éste caso el cine documental, tiene la habilidad de ir más allá de los límites de su propia naturaleza como soporte audiovisual y es capaz de crear un cambio real en la sociedad. A través de la producción de un documental titulado “Mobiliario Humano”, hemos analizado la marginalidad y la pobreza que sufre la gente que vive, trabaja o de alguna manera se relaciona con el entorno urbano/callejero y cómo a través de la del arte, de su propio arte, han sido capaces de modificar su entorno.
Había un interés por nuestra parte en retratar de alguna manera la filosofía de personas en éste tipo de situación, con la idea de exponer públicamente ese material y darle voz a quienes quisieran participar. Pero al iniciar el proceso de pre-producción del documental nos dimos cuenta de que el ejercicio de retratar no debíamos hacerlo nosotros, debían ser ellos los que se retrataran a través su propio arte. Nuestra capacidad de entender su situación es limitada. Por lo que entendimos que el formato ideal era el del documental participativo. Nuestro papel no debía más que el de registrar en formato audiovisual todo ese proceso y prestar herramientas de creación artística si fuera necesario. Actualmente el documental se encuentra en la fase de post-producción. Este trabajo es la memoria del documental “Mobiliario Humano”
Abstract
This work has aimed to analyze how art, in this case documentary cinema has the ability to go beyond the limits of its own nature as an audiovisual format and is capable of creating a real change in society. Through the production of a documentary titled "Mobiliario Humano", we have analyzed the marginality and poverty suffered by people who live, work or in some way relate to the urban or street environment and how they can change their lives through the communication for development in art.
There was a personal interest on learning and showing to the rest of the world, the philosophy of people in this type of situation, with the idea of publicly exposing this material and giving voice to those who would like to participate. But when we started the process of preproduction of the documentary we realized that the exercise of portraying should not be done by us, they should be the ones that were portrayed through their own art. Our ability to understand their situation is limited. Our role was to record the whole process in audiovisual format and provide artistic creation tools if necessary. Currently the documentary is in the post-production phase. This work is the memory of the documentary "Mobiliario Humano".
