Resumen
Se ha realizado un análisis descriptivo retrospectivo, haciendo uso de la base de datos MyNews, de las 590 noticias producidas sobre la Orquesta Ciudad de Granada (OCG) entre el 1 de enero de 1996 y el 26 de febrero de 2020 (día de la consulta de los datos) con el fin de determinar la visión que tiene la sociedad acerca de dicha institución. Se ha tenido en cuenta: el número de noticias totales y por cobertura de la fuente (local, regional, nacional), el número de noticias por tipo de distribución (digital o impreso), el número de noticias por años, el número de noticias por categorías temáticas (música y gestión). Se ha realizado también una nube de palabras con los principales términos aparecidos en los títulos de las noticias analizadas. Las dos principales conclusiones que se extraen de los resultados son: en primer lugar que el medio con más noticias sobre la OCG tanto de forma impresa como de forma digital es el Ideal (ideal.es), un medio regional; y en segundo lugar que, basándonos en los resultados por categorías y por la nube de palabras, las noticias sobre música de la OCG están siendo en los últimos años considerablemente menos abundantes que las relacionadas con la gestión de la institución (sobre todo con los temas de crisis financiera y financiación de la misma).
Abstract
Using the MyNews database, a retrospective descriptive analysis of the 590 news items produced about the City of Granada Orchestra (OCG) between January 1, 1996 and February 26, 2020 (consultation day data) has been carried out in order to determine the vision that society has about this institution. To do so, several questions have been considered, including the number of total news and by coverages, the number of news by type of distribution (digital or printed), the number of news by years, the number of news by categories (music and management). A word cloud with the main terms appearing in the titles of the analyzed news has also been created. Two main conclusions have been drawn from the results: firstly, the medium with the most OCG news, both in print and digitally, is the Ideal (ideal.es); and secondly, based on the results by categories and by the word cloud, the OCG news on music in recent years has been considerably less abundant than those related to the management of the institution (especially with the financial crisis and its financing).
